Individuals play key roles in urging their communities to take action. You can help by simply talking about water and the global water and sanitation need. Many religious and civic groups already sponsor water and sanitation projects, working with partner organizations abroad. A single project by a U.S. congregation or a civic club can make safe water a reality for thousands of people.

Below are examples of different communities and how they are helping.
